Types of Torches
There are basically three types of torches designed to ensure metals are cut depending on their types and thickness. These torches are the mechanized, hand held, and the robotic torch mostly found in miller cutters . 1. Mechanized: There are two types or models of this form of torches. These are the 180-degree Full-length Machine Torch and 180 Mini Machine Torch. The former is a traditional torch used on portable automation tools such as CNC table and track cutters. On the other hand, the latter is used when full-length torch proves to be too long for cutting metals. This mechanized cutting torch is shorter in length, from which the term ‘Mini’ was derived. It is ideal for smaller pipe cutters and CNC tables. 2. Hand Held: This type of torch usually comes in many sizes and degree of angle to accommodate different, specific application.
